The "OasisEast" Sanctuary
Monochromatic drawing made with a blue ballpoint pen, on January 23, 2026, measuring 36 x 25cm, the work shows a building reminiscent of a Shinto shrine in Japan, but in a subtropical garden with a Mediterranean climate like those in southern Spain, a huge garden. At the building's entrance, you can see a ginkgo biloba tree along with an albizia julibrissin and some date palms. To the left of the building, you can see strelitzia nicolai, syagrus romanzoffiana (queen coconut palm), alpinia zerumbet, strelitzia reginae, pandanus utilis, yuccas, cypresses, archontopheonix alexandrae (Australian royal palm), and more palms. Going down, you can see an even more tropical environment since Australian royal palms and Brazilian queen coconut palms are the dominant palms, not the date palms as in the area of the building. Below the building, you can also see ficus microcarpa, ficus elastica, schefflera actinophylla (umbrella tree), alocasia macrorrhizae, yuccas, cordylines indivisa, pandanus utilis, New Zealand tree ferns, monstera deliciosa (Swiss cheese plant), and livistona. chinensis, howea forsteriana (kentia), common ferns and more Strelitzia nicolai. At the top of the building you can also see more plants such as camellias japonica, cordylines indivisas, shrubby rosemary, Strelitzia nicolai and triangle palms (Dypsis decari)
